Hello, this is Mike from compLextechzone and this is a test of the Comodo Internet Security 6.0 with Kingsoft Free Antivirus 2012 combo. The settings are left on default except that I enabled the HIPS feature in comodo. I have to say this is a really effective combination and I do recommend it. No impact on system performance at all.
Hello everybody, this is Mike from compLextechzone and this is a test on the avast! Free Antivirus 7. The settings were changed which is only enabling the detection of potentially unwanted programs, other than that, everything was left on default.
Cons:Behaviour shield needs improvement
Too many ads on the interface
Have to register to activate one year license and register again when the one year usage period is up
Hello everybody, this is Mike from compLex Tech Zone and here is the test of the F-Secure Internet Security 2013.
My Opinion:I was really really impressed of how solid F-Secure internet security is built. It is really good in blocking malware but it is a bit too heavy though. I could really feel an impact on system performance when F-Secure Internet Security 2013 was installed. During installation, F-Secure reported malwarebytes as an incompatibility issue so it uninstalled malwarebytes. Not really happy with that. But other than being an impact on the system, I like it a lot.
Not really recommended. Because it does impact system performance but if it works fine on your system then go ahead. It is a really good suite

My opinion:I used to be an avira customer. It has let me down but this 2013 version really got me impressed. I was surprised to see that the detection rate has improved by 50% since the last time i used it.
Recomended
Pros:Good detection rates
Effective web guard
Very light on system resources
Faster update speeds than before
Free
Simple
Cons: Heuristics cannot be said that fantastic
Not feature packed
Have to implement a behavioral analysis module and cloud based detection in the free version
Hello everybody, compLex TechZone here. Today we tested a free cloud antivirus from Panda.
My opinion: Really light free antivirus. Nothing complicated and very simple to use. I think it is a pretty decent antivirus program despite the fact the detection rates ain't fantastic but it still gets the job done.
Recomended
Pros:Free
Doesn't impact system performance
Easy to use
Decent heuristics/ suspicious file detection
Cons:Zero day detection can't be said that good for even a cloud antivirus
Behavioural detection modules didn't kick into action
Not many bells and whistles
